didn't save my work

I’m so distraught – I was about 2 minutes away from posting and my work was NOT saved… I have no idea why? Is there any way I can retrieve my work.

Sadly – what you saw was the post which was my 2nd ‘try’. I had to redo about 95% ’cause somehow WordPress didn’t save my original. I’m pleased with my 2nd attempt… so, I guess it all worked out OK in the end. But now I’m nervous this might happen again. Thanks for your assistance!

First of all, the recipe made me salivate :)
Second, I always recommend saving while you’re writing — I do it, too — just to practice the “better safe than sorry” rule. I feel your pain. Losing work stinks.
Finally, if you are interested, there are some autosave applications out there that automatically save the text you’ve typed into forms online. Then, in case of emergency, you can always revert to that text as it will be saved in your computer’s cache. Here is the one I use:

You’ve been such a great help – and thanks so much for saying how much you liked my recipe for ‘S’Mores Cupcakes’. You know, I always used to ‘save’ like crazy… but it seems I had become too complacent & will have to go back to saving often. And thank you for sending me the link!!
