Difference between .org and .com

    Can somebody please explain to me the difference between wordpress.org and wordpress.com.

    I did read the WordPress article on this subject but I’m still confused. I need it explained in SIMPLE terms LOL! I guess I’m a little brain dead today because I just can’t get it!

    My client has a wordpress.com site – which is free – she has not upgraded. Now she is thinking of upgrading and we are trying to figure out what the difference is and what happens when she upgrades…..does everything from her current blog transfer and stay the same or does she have to redo everything??
