Difference between registering a new blog and creating on from scratch
-
I have a photography blog on wordpress.com at present and would like to have a humor blog. I understand I can register a new blog – by doing this I assume that I continue to use my initial username and password. Is this correct? Are there benefits to creating one from scratch?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you have two blogs on one account, you don’t have to log out of one before going to the other in the same browser. You get stats for each blog separately.
Having 2 accounts, one per blog means you’d have 2 user names: you could link to each blog. Having 1 account with 2 blogs means you have to choose which one to link your user name to.

You have two options. The unique identifier is the email address you use to register your username account(s) with and then register blogs under.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/All WordPress.com blogs gave separate stats.
Option 1. Register a new blog under the same username you have for your first blog. When logged in to WordPress.com simply point your browser to http://wordpress.com/signup to register your new blog.
