Difference in wordpress theme

  I’m trying to use dyad theme, but it is different in the online and downloaded versions of wordpress -> The wp donloaded version of dyad has less built in customization options. Why so? How can I get around this?

  There may be differences in the 2 versions of the theme due to any number of reasons, including the tools built in to WordPress.com that provide many functions supplied by plugins in a self-hosted site.

  What customization options are you trying to use on the WordPress.com site that you can’t find? https://wordpress.com/themes/dyad/ tells you how to set up the theme on WordPress.com.
