Different background for text/posts?
-
Hi!
I have a question that may be difficult to word. I am new to wordpress.com and have just created a blog. I decided to use the Coraline theme and have been playing around with the background, header, and other appearance qualities. I noticed that on some blogs they have a background but the area behind their text is a different color. Say, for example, my background is a dark blue color, is it possible to make the background behind my posts and other text a different color so they stand out? Is CSS needed for this?
Any help is welcome! Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, with Coraline, you would need the CSS upgrade to add a background color to the post/sidebar area.
A background color can be inserted on a post by post basis using inline CSS rules, but it would not be continuous and would not put a background behind the widgets.
