Different between WordPress Pro and Managed WordPress through godaddy
-
Hi! I have a domain name through godaddy that I’d like to host with wordpress. On the godaddy site, there is a ‘managed wordpress’ hosting plan, yet on wordpress site, there is a ‘wordpress.com pro’ package that I need to connect my godaddy domain.
What is the difference between these 2 packages?
Do I need both or just 1?
Will be able to use plugins like Elementor if I get the managed wordpress hosting plan through godaddy? Or will wordpress plugins still be unavailable to me because I didn’t buy WordPress.com Pro plan?WP.com: Yes

Hi @prolaiosite, we’re two different hosting companies, so you’re welcome to choose whichever one suits you best.
WordPress itself is free software that can be hosted anywhere, even on your own computer if you have the technical know-how. We provide hosting and management for those who can’t or don’t want to handle the technical side of things:
