different files and sources

    Hi! im making a website about a thinktank of science. I want to add some research sources, so the people can follow. But somethimes thats a website, excel, pdf… What do i do? Do i best make a library page? Do i need a different platform, go outside wordpress and make a link?

    Hi! So you need to upload several types of media into a library and keep stuff organized and easy to find, right? Here’s what I’d do.

    • Start at https://wordpress.com/post
    • Upload an item (pdf or whatever). Copy or summarize the text too if you can, so it’s easy to find and easy to read on small screens. And give it an appropriate title.
    • Use a few tags and categories to organize the post. Be sure to use a “library” category, too.
    • Repeat til you have several items, then…
    • Link to a page on the site just for library items. You can use a default page or get creative with the layout.

    i think i broke wordpress. I published my site so i can put the pages. Go have a look and laugh your ass of. The navigation is not visible when im editing so im doing it all in the blind. Result is funny :) so question: how come i cant see what im editing? How come the site i see is not the site lounged? https://denktankklimaat.wordpress.com

    Looks like you got a lot of copies of the navigation block on there somehow, and it’s making the menu repeat several times. How do you feel about removing all but the first one?
