Different format for pages ? help please

  • Unknown's avatar

My pages sit at the top of my blog at http://edinburghlove.com/ and there were 3 lines that all the topics fitted into and they’ve not split into 4 and it looks messier and not so good for those with small screens.

Any ideas how to change it back to 3 ?

    Thanks in advance

    Alison

You can’t change it back to 3. The theme decides for itself how may lines of text that will display, which depends on how long the individual page titles are.

On a design note I suggest you show only one line of text by making non-essential pages into children of parent pages, and adding a page widget in your sidebar that will display the pages more properly, particularly for those with small screens.

Thanks for replying, but it’s been 3 lines for the last 6 months and now the theme changes it to 4 ? That’s confusing !

I see three in Safari 4 but four Firefox 3.0.0.10 (both on Mac).

Each browser will interpret and render pages slightly differently. It is just the way it is. How it displays in a particular browser can even be different depending on how the user has their preferences set.

Ah, thanks, my internet explorer updated itself today, so that must be why.
