Different Formatting Between Preview and Published Versions

I’m having a formatting issue.
When I preview a post, the blockquote formatting looks as it should in accordance with the way I altered the CSS.
But, when I publish it, the blockquote formatting looks totally different, possibly back to some default setting.
Any advice is appreciated.
