Different Home Page View When Not Logged In

  • Unknown's avatar

Visitors to my website see a home page without my custom layout of sliders and blog posts. If I am logged in to my site, I can see my sliders, blog posts and widgets as they are supposed to be on the front page, but visitors see a empty page with a drop down menu for my other pages. My home page is the only page that is not seen correctly by visitors. This is the second time this has happened. I restored the site the last time to correct this. I don’t want to have to restore the site each time this happens.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is how your site looked to me: https://cloudup.com/cVO8SAoUOk1

If that’s not how it’s supposed to look, please post your question at the WordPress.org forum: https://wordpress.org/support/

You appear to have a self-hosted site using the WordPress.org software, but this forum is for blogs hosted here on WordPress.com. The two versions are different and have separate forums. If you don’t have a username at the WordPress.org forum, you’ll need to register before posting. I understand. Thanks for the reply. I believe I found my issue. For some reason, by home page template keeps going back to default instead of remaining on blog. I found this right after I sent my message. What you saw is what it should look like. Maybe an update is causing it to change. I will have to keep an eye on it. Thanks!
