Your username is linked to http://changinglinesblog.wordpress.com/ and I don’t see changes to images in the main column on that blog home page. Is that the blog you’re talking about? Were you able to get it sorted on your own?

no i wasnt.. :/
I just took off the link on the image.
i’ve restored the link on the first image so u could see an example.. :)

To get rid of the blue hover color for all links in Blogum, this should do the trick:
.post-content p a:hover, .post-content li a:hover, .post-content table a:hover { background: none; }I think it’s all or nothing. I don’t see a way to remove the hover background color for just image links. So, try that out and see if it works as a solution for you.

That was sort of the conclusion I came to here for the OP:

:/ It didn’t work out as well.. all links got affected by that code, instead of only the images.
no problem… i can live with this.
thank u both for all the help u have been giving me
best,
Pedro

The way the markup and the CSS is done in that theme simply doesn’t allow the image links to be styled separately. Kind of unusual actually, at least in my experience.
