    hi,

First, you need to understand the difference between Header Image and Featured Image.
A Header Image appears on all posts/pages.
A Featured Image is specific to the post/page that it is tagged to.
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/ vs https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-header-image/

If you want a layout which has random header images,
    1. go to Customizer > Header Images
    2. add a few images
    3. click on Randomize suggested headers

The above will show a random header image with every post, page.

If instead you want a specific image to appear with a specific post, page, you can choose a theme that contains the featured image feature. Your current theme Toujours does not display featured image for pages.
I tested with the Dara theme and it shows featured images for both posts and pages.
Once you have chosen an appropriate theme, make sure you do not set a Header Image.
Instead, set a different featured image for each of your post/page. Then a visitor who visits a post or a page will see a different image at the top.

  • Hi there,

This depends on your theme, and your current theme cannot show different header images on different pages, aside from the option to have a randomly rotating custom header image for the site.

You can find all themes that instead uses the featured image as a page header here:
