Different layouts?
-
So I was trying to make sure all the posts from one of my categories display on a certain page and I found a way to do this on the internet but WordPress’ layout there was really different. I have a layout that is blue but there they had a black layout with loads more options in the left sidebar. Is there any way I can access that layout?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey @littlediyprojects,
I think what you’re talking about here is themes. There is an almost endless supply for different WordPress themes out in circulation. Once you’ve chosen a theme, you can then customise it even further – such as changing the colours.
You can learn more about themes (and how to change yours) here:
It may not be possible to have the same theme as the one you saw somewhere else, as they might have paid for a particular premium theme, or even had their theme customized using CSS and other code.
As for the options in the left sidebar, I think what you were seeing was widgets. You can add, remove and modify widgets from your websites customize panel. You can learn all about widgets, as well as how to add them to your site, by reading the following page:
Please let me know if this helps to answer your question, and if there’s anything more I can clarify for you :)

and to add to my answer, you mentioned:

You would achieve this by linking to the category page of the particular category you wanted it to display.
Here’s a great article that will show you, step by step, how to link to a category page in your website’s menu:
