Different names, while still signed into the same account?

  I want a different name that is publically viewed on my new blog, but I want the old name to stay on my other blog. Is that possible to do, if I’m still logged into the same account? I don’t want to have to sign in and out to blog, when I need to write on the other blog.

  Please help!

  When we register a username at WordPress.com we provide an email address and it becomes our unique identifier. When we are logged into WordPress.com under that username every blog we register is registered under that username.

  The answer is “no”. Yes, you can change your display name http://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/#change-display-name-nickname but when you do that all blogs registered under that account will also reflect the change.
