Different pages with different widgets?

Is there anyway to use different widgets on different pages? Specifically, I would like to use different copyright notices on different pages (Creative Commons license on my main page for most blog entries, ordinary copyright notice on pages with flash fiction, for example), but I can’t figure out how to use different text widgets on different pages (if that’s possible). Thanks in advance.

There isn’t anyway to do this here at wordpress.com. Some themes show the same widgets on all pages and some show different ones on some pages, and on some pages some themes show no widgets at all, but I don’t think you can control any of that. Perhaps there is a way to get to where you want to be with the paid CSS upgrade, but unless you have CSS experience, it isn’t recommended. Sadly all the CSS guru’s who used to help out from time to time with CSS issues are all gone now. There is no official support for CSS upgrades so you are pretty much on your own if you get the CSS upgrade.

Ah, well, that’s what I expected. It will just be a very long copyright notice, then. Many thanks.

You might do like I did and make a separate page for your “legal” stuff and then just put a copyright link in a text widget in your sidebar linked to the “legal” page.
