    Hi, can an eCommerce shopping site be used on a personal & premium monthly plan, or only on the ecommerce plan? thanks

    Hi there,

    On the Premium plan it is possible to set up a simple online store using the “Pay with PayPal” block, which allows you to create simple product listings on any page (usually several listings on a single page to create a store) and accept payments via PayPal.     To have a full ecommerce experience with a cart, integrated checkout, shipping calculation, inventory controls, and shopper account pages will require the use of an eCommerce plugin (we recommend WooCommerce) and that is only possible to add by upgrading to our Business or eCommerce plans.

    There is not really a way to set up an online store on the Personal plan, but one possibility is to manually create product listings, and add PayPal “buy now” buttons to them. That is an option even on our free sites: https://wordpress.com/support/paypal/
