Different photo upload issue-the upload window goes white..
-
What do I need to do to have my photos correctly upload? After I have written a post (and before publishing) I am hitting the icon for “add media” and then choosing to browse for an image to upload. I find the photo and it is there to be uploaded…however, when I hit the “upload/post to blog” option, that “window” goes white and nothing happens…help?

Some are having this problem and I don’t know if there has ever been a resolution to it. As a workaround, you might try the procedure outlined in this post.

It is a couple extra steps, but it should work for you. If you need to resize the image after uploading, then you will have to do it manually in the editor by highlighting the image and then dragging one of the corner handles.

ok…..teach me how to make the photo NOT huge? The dragging a corner of it does not seem to work (ie….it is not moving/dragging)

If you are using the visual editor, just click to select the image and open the Image Icon pop-up box and put a number in the width, a pixel number. 400 is very wide, 250 is more standard. You can play with it. And you only have to change one side; the other changes automatically as long as you leave it blank.

Thanks rain, that is good to know. Safari 3.1.1 doesn’t display the handles on the images when you highlight them so you cannot manually resize them.
