different questions before purchase premium account

  Hi,

  I’m doubting to go premium. I have a couple of questions:

  – can you install plugins of third parties, for example virus/spam?
  – are security options more extend then the free version?
  – is it possible to make my own backups
  – do i get ftp information?

  Nope.

  None that I can tell, both versions are just as secure.

  You can export thing, but it’s also available for free version. http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/

  > do i get ftp information?
  No.

  Thanks hafizr, thanks for the answers. I’m doubting this moment even more about wordpress premium and hosting and a wordpress installation of my own. I think the last one wins. Is your experience with wordpress premium okay?
