Difficult time navigating Ecommerce plan upgrade
-
Hello, Hope you are doing great. I have upgraded to the ecommerce plan yesterday. Although I have been having a very difficult time, especially with domains. So I have 6 domains connected now. I mainly bought the ecommerce plan as it included all the benefits of the business plan which I needed most, though I thought I will give the ecommerce option a try. I have been having a difficult time. 1. Creating a website for my domains. It keeps going back to the free domain provided with my purchase and does not allow me to work on a website where I can connect my pre existing domains with. 2. I mainly bought the ecommerce for Online Dropshipping, although I seem to be given more of a physical store option. Isnt woocommerce free? So then what is the point of the ecommerce plan by wordpress if I can get hosting and other features for much cheaper?
So this is my main problem:
After I asked live chat and they told me that I am allowed to have multiple websites with multiple custom domains, ‘Unlimited stores’ as advertised in the ecommerce plan, i followed the steps but it just lead to the message [All domains will redirect to ‘ The domain that came for free with my ecommerce plan ‘,]why does this happen though? There is no way I am only allowed to create one website for one domain even with the best option available, the ecommerce plan. I am sure there has got to be a way. As I already own these domains and connected them. Though it does not let me build a website and use my existing pre bought domain.
It only allows me to have one website and I get given the option to just change the primary domain. Please help me manage this issue.

Hey there,
1. Creating a website for my domains. It keeps going back to the free domain provided with my purchase and does not allow me to work on a website where I can connect my pre existing domains with.
It sounds like you are trying to set the primary address for your site. You can set the primary address on a site with any paid plan by visiting Upgrades > Domains and then selecting the Menu (three dots) next to your domain and selecting Make primary address. We also have a great help doc here:

WooCommerce itself is free to use. The Commerce plan comes with additional features and add-ons for WooCommerce, which are not free. These are a wide range of features, such as Integrations with top shipping carriers and Referral and loyalty programs. You can find an outline of the benefits of the Commerce plan here:

It only allows me to have one website and I get given the option to just change the primary domain. You can certainly create a site for each domain. To do so, create a new site without a custom domain, and then transfer your existing domain over to the new site. Keep in mind that each site will require its own site plan.
Hope this helps!
