difficulty accessing correct site
-
sometime ago i had a site called knownadvantage Recently i bought a new name called positively-sustainable and i transferred the new name to the old site.
For some reason there were two sites with this old name.
Now, I log into WordPress and choose positively-sustainable https://wordpress.com/home/positively-sustainable.com shows in the address bar. When I go to update my site and click on Edit Site
https://knownadvantage.wordpress.com/wp-admin/site-editor.php shows in the address bar.I can’t edit the positively-sustainable site like this.
Can you fix it?
WP.com: Yes
Jetpack: No
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

Hey there @pjrigg, those are actually one single site: you have an underlying free address, and a new connected custom domain that’s attached to it. The public will see your custom domain; you may see that or the old one depending on where you are in your dashboard. And, if you ever get rid of the custom address, you’ll go back to the free one.
We have a few options:
- You’re welcome to leave it as is if it doesn’t bother you
- You could change
knownadvantage.wordpress.comtosomethingelse.wordpress.comif you’d like. Just knowpositivelysustainable.wordpress.comis already taken, and once you change it, theknownadvantage.wordpress.comaddress will be permanently deactivated and cannot be reused for something else. - If you want to keep access to
knownadvantage.wordpress.combut have a different underlying address for positively-sustainable.com, you could create a new site with a free address, copy your content to that, then ask us to move the domain for you.
Let us know what you’d like to do, or whether you need more information. Cheers!
