Difficulty commenting on other wordpress blogs

I am having difficulty commenting on other wordpress blogs, and I have had two people with wordpress blogs tell me that they have had difficulty commenting on my blog. Is there some glitch going on?

There is no glitch I am aware of. Exactly what do you mean by difficulty? Please be descriptive. Do you experience an error message? If so what does it say? Will you provide a screenshot for Staff please? I’ll tag this thread for their attention. You can use http://snag.gy/ to share screenshots and link to them here. If you use the WordPress.com guide screenshots you can and upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it.

When it happened to me, nothing happened. No error message, no nothing, the comment wouldn’t appear when the post comment button was pressed. The two people having problems today didn’t say, but I’ll ask them.

You will all want to make sure that you are not running outdated browser versions. You can update here http://browshappy.com You may also benefit form disabling any incognito browser settings you have set up, as well as, disabling any browser extensions used for blocking.

No, that isn’t the issue. I just commented on someone else’s wordpress blog and it did fine. Thanks for the suggestion, but it must have been just a glitch at the time.

Can you get me the exact error message these users are seeing? Are you seeing an error? Can you tell me what sites you commented on that you had this problem?

No, it was a couple of days ago and hasn’t happened since. Kathy, the lady that emailed me, has since posted on my blog without a problem. I follow too many blogs to remember which WordPress blog it was that I couldn’t post on. It had to be a momentary glitch that day, as it was the same day. Thanks for responding. It appears to be over.

I’m glad its not happening anymore. If its the error message I think it is, it’s probably a connection issue. I’m not sure where you live, but the storms across the north east US could have caused some issues for you.
