Difficulty finding members plugin

  Hi,

  I would like to add a plugin to my site, found at http://harvestsantmarcell.wordpress.com/, which would allow only members with usernames and passwords to see the content of the site.

  I saw on another forum that this can be done through the Members Plugin. I can’t seem to find access to it though.

  Can someone please help me with this

  Hi there,

  I’m afraid additional plugins aren’t allowed on sites hosted on WordPress.COM. The information suggesting you add a membership plugin was based on the assumption you had a self-hosted site using software from WordPress.ORG. Here’s the difference between the two types of WordPress sites: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
