Difficulty importing my blog from blogger

    Hello all,

    I’ve been trying for days (pathetic, I know) to successfully import my blog from blogger, but all that I’ve managed to do was move the post titles. The entire posts themselves are missing.

    I’ve tried clearing the upload information on WordPress, and exporting my blog by uploading the xml file, but it just doesn’t seem to work.

    My original blog is at http://adorn-on-a-shoestring.blogspot.ca, and my new WP site is at http://www.adornonashoestring.com. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi chrystallrussell,

    If all of your content on WordPress.com is from Blogger, I can empty the content for you so you can try again. Let me know.

    Also, can you let me know if you’re using the automatic importer (that connects to Blogger directly) or if you’re using the second option, where you export your content manually and then use our import tool to find the export file to import into WordPress.com?

    If you have an export file, can you tell me the file type (is it definitely a .xml file?) and how large it is?
