Difficulty importing Xanga archives

  Hi, i am trying to import my Xanga archives onto WordPress but WordPress keeps saying the files i want to upload are not xml files. But they actually are. The file names end off with 32240040_1.xml and
  32240040_2.xml. I already exported them out of the zip file that I downloaded from Xanga. What is the problem and what should I do?

  Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually before your import will show up on WordPress.com.

  Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually.

  We also have a Xanga-specific uploader, but if that’s not working, you can also try the WordPress importer, as sometimes switching between them can help (both will import .xml files, though usually the Xanga-specific one is a little more efficient).
