difficulty to create footer in wordpress

  i m new in wordpress.i have created my html page and the footer code is

  <div class=”footer”>

  <div class=”footer1″>

  <img src=”image/bootstrap-logo.png” />

  </div>
  <div class=”footer2″>

  <p>Copyright &copy Mighty Egg Technologies</p>

  </div>

  </div>
  when i insert it into footer.php file it doesnt work. how i include it into footer.php file and it will be in center position.please help me.

  Hi there. I think you might be in the wrong forum. We have no FTP access on WordPress.com, so you’re probably working on a self-hosted WordPress.org site. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
