Difficulty transferring likes and followers to .org

  I have exported my wordpress.com to a hosted blog.davidtorkington.com. However I am unable to export my followers and likes to my self hosted blog.

  Hi there. blog.davidtorkington.com just sends me back to your WordPress.com blog, so it seems you just mapped it to a subdomain of your website. If that’s what you did you don’t need to transfer followers, as your blog (with all your followers) is still hosted at WordPress.com. All you need to do is make sure that the subdomain is linked somewhere on your website.

  If you moved your blog so it’s completely hosted at your own website, you need to install the Jetpack plugin and follow the instructions here to move your subscribers: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/#wordpress-com-to-self-hosted-site

  Thank you Kokkieh.

  I realize that I have not updated links so they just point to my wordpress.com site.

  However I have moved my blog so it’s completely hosted and have installed jet pack plugin. Is it possible for you to move my subscribers for me? will I have to update all my links on blog.davidtorkington.com so they no longer point to the wordpress.com site first?

  Likes cannot currently be moved, but have you tried this to move your Followers?
