Difficulty with email setup with personal domain

  How can I use my personal domain for email? Can I use it as an alias for my real email address? Can I set it up to redirect/forward incoming mail to my real email address?

  I’ve had considerable difficulty with Zoho and others and have given up, a least for the moment, and wonder if that is the route I should really be taking.

  (Zoho’s CNAME and HTML verification methods were either too complex or, in the case of the HTML method I consistently got a prompt that I wasn’t allowed to access that site.)
