Difficulty with new post editor

  Previously I was offered the option of switching to the old post editor to create new posts and edit existing posts. Now, it seems I don’t have the option. I am having great difficulty with the new editor as it is very hard to see – it creates great eye strain – and I find that it is not as intuitive as the old editor. I am considering going with an upgrade option for my new blog, but I prefer the old editor for ease of use and lack of eye strain. What are my options, if any? Thank you so much for your help.
