Digg 3 column home page – can’t manage
-
I am new to bloggs. I use Digg 3 Column and somehow the tab Home Page, which is also the front page, leads to a page I cannot manage. It says, “Not found. Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.” Also It is not listed under page management so I cannot work on it at all. I don’t want it to be static. I do want a Home Page tab and page. How did I goof this up and what do I do to fix it.

The “home” page, is the main blog page where your posts will appear. That page cannot be edited as it is created on the fly by the php programming whenever someone goes to your blog.
As you create posts, they will appear on the “home” page. Each additional post you create will appear at the top of that page, and push the other posts down.
Pages that you create (by going to write > page) will be static and sit outside the blog structure. Pages you create are for information that will not change too often, such as an about page.
This explains the differences between pages and posts: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/11/11/a-post-and-a-page/

Why does the Home Page say “Not Found. Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.” I have elected to not receive comments or pings on any of the other pages. Thank you for your patience.

Give us a link to your blog. This one, http://dauerhammer.wordpress.com/ is not using Digg so I’m assuming you are talking about another blog.

I think I have it figured out. I see, now how to post on that page. Now, another question. Can I import pictures, diagrams, etc to that page?
-
OK. Now I see the answer to that question, too. Thank you for opening the door for me. I think this is resolved.

That page displays posts. You import and insert the images into the posts that you create.
You can also create static pages and you can also import and insert images into them.

Hi, I use Digg 3 column for some time.
Now I face this problem: column no.2 (that one in the right side) disappeared. Actually it moved under the articles. What can I do? I like this theme, I don’t wish to change it. Thank you
