Digg 3 Comments
-
Hi,
Very new to all of this and very errrm challenged when it comes to webpages etc.
I’ve built a Blog using the Digg3 template but would like to know if it is possible to make the “Comments” feature a bit more obvious? At the minute it is just a little link buried in amongst various other little links at the food of each post.Any other advice on improvements would be welcome too.
CheersGraeme

Hi Graeme’
You could probably do that with CSS, but that would require that you buy the yearly upgrade to customize the theme. That is not a good idea unless you know something about how to write the code: there is no official support for CSS on wp.com, and there are only a few experts to help.
When I first started here, I used Digg3, and at that time it did not have even that small reference about leaving a comment! If I recall correctly, I think it said, “No Comments.” Yikes!! that made it sound as though I did not want any comments! Right?
I didn’t know back at my wp beginning, but you could make a link to invite readers to comment. At the beginning, or end of your posts. Just save the link snippet (maybe as a draft page so it is available online) and remember to paste it into each post.
