Digg 3 Theme RSS Entries/Comments

    Hi Everyone,

    New to all this. Am using the Digg 3 theme, which has ‘Rss Entries’ and ‘Rss Comments’ built into Custom Header. But it doesn’t work!!

    Do i need to add the rss widget’s again in ‘Appearance/Widgets’, or something like that? But then they would be there twice. A

    Basically i want people to be able to subscribe using RSS to my posts when i start writing, and for me to do the same! Is there a step by step guide anywhere?

    If this is the blog you are talking about, http://dreamstarbubble.wordpress.com/ , the RSS entries work just fine for me. It could be that when you tried, you did not have any posts. If you have no posts, there is nothing for the RSS to show. The same is true with the comments RSS. If you have no comments, then there is nothing for the comments RSS to show.

    I have the opposite problem. Ever since I imported posts & comments from another blog, the RSS feed stuff showed up in my header. I’d rather it NOT be there but, I’m willing to put them at the bottom of a sidebar. I’d like to also get the Search box out of the header and into the sidebar. How do I do this w/o plunging into the CSS upgrade (which I am SOOOOO not ready for!) ?

    @evfabrics: Those items are built into the theme you’re using: you can switch to another theme.

    And please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your nickname to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting). We usually need that to give a relevant answer, and we’re not obliged to search for your blog by trying to see if your nick is also the blog name.

    Hi, sorry to reply after so long. Once i posted on this forum i completely lost how to access it again… i thought i’d be notified or something! Yes, sorry for not posting the link up. Anyway I was trying the RSS in Chrome, which apparently doesn’t support it. Rookie or what? Thanks again.
