Digg Addition

  I’m trying to add a digg button to each of my posts. I found the tutorial and thought I followed it properly and added the new address to the post I had published. However it just came up as a link to the Digg, I got no little button for the post as I assume I was to get. I’m confused. Digg has a bunch of different codes, but they say add them to your “page” and that doesn’t explain anything to me. Any help would be appreciated. Also, at the digg site, after i have “written my post, am I to hit the digg1 button for my post? or say, that none of the others are “copies?” I’m confused, as you can see.

  PS. I’m fairly dumb as regards this stuff. I need to be led one step at a time. Presume I know nothing, mostly that is true.

  ok I was a bit confused when I first started to add the digg button
  to my posts what you do is click on the html button on your
  editor and add this shortcut [ digg=digg url goes here to your article ]
  without the spaces… :) I spaced the brackets because of it being in the
  forum so make sure there is no space between the word “Digg” and your
  “URL”

  Gamehq, Thank you, that worked perfectly. Now can you answer one final question? Do these automatically show up on all subsequent posts or do i need to put in the Digg address to each post, just changing the ending “title of post.” ? And can i just switch to html when i add it at the end, or do I need to write my entire post in html mode? I know these questions may sound silly, but I find this stuff maddeningly hard. Thanks!

  Ok you can write your post in the visual editor but you have to
  add the “Digg Shortcut” in the HTML part of the editor by clicking
  the HTML button…

  And yes you’ll have to manually add the digg URL to each post
  that you want to digg because you won’t have the correct
  “Digg URL” until you submit your article to digg…

  No they do not show up on subsequent posts…
