Digg — am I so clueless about this that I can’t be helped?
-
I’m not sure if this is a wordpress support ? or a digg one, but…
I’d like to get my blog posts carried by digg. (I’ts part of my 5 year plan to take over the world).
I came across this in the faq, that is VERY HELPFUL in explaining how to get a post “digg”ed
http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/02/22/how-do-i-digg/I’d ideally like to let my entire blog be “digged” w/o going to digg each time I post, does anyone know if that’s possible?
But I was wondering, do I add digg as an RSS feed?
Or am I more like John McCain when it comes to this new fangled thing called the Internet?

I use it on mine. I don’t think you can imbed it in the template because WordPress doesn’t allow you to enter the template code. You must as I understand it, do it manually each time. First publish your post. Then go to Digg and go to Submit new. Add the specific post address and continue. Then describe your post, and continue, until it finally says, Success! then take the new address up top which is the digg address with your post name at the end. copy that. Return to your post, and return it to edit, change from visual to HTML, then go to bottom or top, as you prefer, and add the the following [digg= (then add the digg address you copied, followed by a ] After a few times, it gets pretty fast.
Hope this helps. I’m rather dumb when it comes to this stuff. Nobody tells you about changing from visual to html which is the key to making the widget show up and work.
