Digg. FAQ walkthrough

@Nosy, it may be on their end. I didn’t find where you used this on your blog though so I can’t double check for you.
I had taken it out. But I placed the code that Matt told us at the very bottom of the post and that’s what it showed. I can try again today to see if things are better now.

What am I doing wrong? I put the code [digg=http://digg.com/url_to/story_on_digg] and it still shows what I said it showed.

I do note when you submit a story over at digg, when you’re done, it drops you on the ‘/blog’ page. That threw me the first time because I was expecting to see the URL I should use.
-
I have no idea what you all are talking about. Can you please help my feeble mind understand what to learn from this thread. Thank you so much.

I was putting the code [digg=http://digg.com/url_to/story_on_digg]
But then I thought maybe the digg story url should go after [digg=http://digg.com/
And where url_to/story_on_digg] is is where the digg story url goes

Digg is a site (network, juggernaut) that basically is a place where people can say “This blog post was interesting, go see it.” As such, it can be a very powerful hit-driving tool if you have something that a lot of people find relevant.
PS Mark, what is that avatar? IT looks like a ninja turtle in 3-D aviator shades.

Weird.. according to this list wordpress.com was at once time banned from digg (not the individual blogs, the main site)

Thank you, I’ve often wondered how this works. Your instructions were easy to follow.
The digg outline and yellow fill of the button does not show up for me. Is this because of the theme that I am using?

Yeah could be browser. Sometimes on IE one’s site can look completely different. Check once in a while on IE if you do anything new on your site. Most people in the world use IE.
