Digg This button automatically added to posts?

  Hello everyone,

  I found this tutorial in the FAQ on how to use Digg with WordPress: http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/02/22/how-do-i-digg/

  But for it to work you have to submit a story with a link to your post on Digg.

  Can’t I just put a Digg button that will submit (digg) my post to the Digg Website for the first time when someone will click it the first time?

  No.

  In order to get the URL from Digg you need to submit your story to them, and then you need to put it in the button code. There is no other way to do this at WP.com.

  Correction: if you follow sunburntkamel’s instructions that timethief gave you in the other thread, you’ll get a Digg button in a row of social bookmarking links, and you don’t have to submit it to Digg then. But you don’t get the big yellow Digg button.
