Digg3 Sidebar2 suddenly not showing
-
From reading the forums, it seems this could be due to images that are too largeor wide pushing the right sidebar to the bottom.
But the blog was fine for 16 hours or so after my latest post (which doesn’t contain any wide images).
The sidebar seemed to just ‘disappear’ quite suddenly for no reason.
Do I need to go thru every post and look at something, and if so what would be the best way to do this? Still not sure why this would happen when I wasn’t doing anything on the blog at the time.
Thank you,

Set your blog to display one post at a time and then go backwards through the posts till you find the one with the problem.
At a guess, I’d suspect it has something to do with those extra links at the end of each of your posts. Where are you getting them from? Are they affiliate links? Sometimes those have complex formatting that can screw things up if the tags are not closed properly.

Very helpful – thank you so much.
It was the latest post, and fixed when I cleaned up a couple extra </span> tags in the HTML (still learning about all that …)
Thanks again.

To avoid this from happening again, you can go to Settings>Writing and check the option “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”.
