digg.com picture not working
-
Hi all,
I read Matt’s post as well as http://support.wordpress.com/digg/ and from the last one it seems the shortcode is`[<span>digg</span>= ] and the URL should be like in the example given as http://mark.wordpress.com/2007/02/02/digg-digg-digg but I didn’t get that.
I got http://digg.com/linux_unix/using_smartmontools_to_do_hdd_monitoring.
I put the same in http://flossexperiences.wordpress.com/2008/12/29/smartmontools-hdd-monitoring/ and the result is not pretty.
Can somebody help me with this same

I’m going to have to ask you to post that using Backticks. As it is, I can’t make out the code at all.
Backticks are the little, apostrophe-like marks, usually on the same key as the ~. So put it this way: Backtick, code, backtick.
It will look like this -
Also, in some themes it’s suggested you put it in the Code editor, not the Visual editor. You can try it; Albeo is newer than the Digg button.
Also? I don’t think I use an = sign when I do this. Try taking it out and leaving just one space between the word digg and the URL.

raincoaster, sorry for above.
‘[<span>digg</span>=http://digg.com/linux_unix/using_smartmontools_to_do_hdd_monitoring]’
This is what I put in the HTML editor and still it doesn’t come nice and proper :(
This is what is written in the support.wordpress.com/digg webpage.
If its an Albeo theme issue then forget it.
Also do you mean like this
[digg http://digg.com/linux_unix/using_smartmontools_to_do_hdd_monitoring] -
