It seems that my blogs are attached (aphototeacher and digitalmindsphotography). I want to delete (digitalmindsphotography) one but it ill not allow that and wants to delete my main blog (aphototeacher)! PLease advise!

When we register a username account here the email address we provide becomes our unique identifier. When we are logged into WordPress.com and register blogs all the blogs we register are registered to that username account and email address. We can register as many blogs as we wish and provided we are using the same username account then all the blogs will be registered under it and the associated email account.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/How many usernames do you have and which username account registered http://digitalmindsphotography.wordpress.com ? Only the logged in Admin of the username account that registered the blog can delete the blog.
Note that there is no recycling of deleted blog URLS here at wordpress.com.
