    Changing my wordpress header – what are the best dimensions?

    Aloha feltenk, Sometimes the themes will give you recommended image sizes on their information page. It looks like you are using the Visual theme. Is that correct? It lists:

    The content width is 265 on home, archive, and search pages, and 670 on single posts
    The content width on the full-width page template is 960
    The sidebar width is 260

    Another place you can check is in the theme customizer under Header Image. Here, it says the theme recommends a header size of 1020 × 250 pixels.
