Direct Link to Follow Widget
-
I’d like to add a direct link to the follow widget in my upcoming post. Could you help me do that? I’ve looked on some forums (specifically https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/direct-link-to-subscribe-to-a-wpcom-blog?replies=11) but his code has not been working for me. Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The ID for that Widget section is blog_subscription-2.
A link to the front page of your site to that section would be:
http://scbarfoundation.wordpress.com/#blog_subscription-2
A link to the follow on a post would be like http://scbarfoundation.wordpress.com/2013/09/12/ms-robinson-goes-to-washington/#blog_subscription-2
You may also create a relative link such as:
#blog_subscription-2
follow me hereNote that this is a jump link, a link that jumps to that spot on the page. Because your follow button section is midway down the middle of the page, it will jump to that point on the page, not the specific button spot. The user will have to move their eyes to that spot away from the text. I recommend you use a description such as “the bright red Follow button” in your instructions.
Thanks.
