Direct (or redirect) a .com visit to a .ca

  Hi. I own one domain with two TLDs (like http://www.example.com and http://www.example.ca).
  I plan to build example.ca and I have two questions about my .com address.
  1. Is it possible to direct the .com to the .ca site, so if a person types in example.com they arrive at example.ca?
  2. Is this even worth doing? Is there any advantage to having both active? This is a hobby site, not an e-com play (where nationality would matter).
