  Hello Guys,

  I’m new in the forum and recently newbie using WP. My website idea consist in fast and easy/direct video uploading, which is possible using my premium WordPress.com subscription (13gb storage and “unlimited” bandwidth).

  The issue is that, my website core will consist in a large amount of video bandwidth (the videos size around 5-10 mb, but with multiple visualizations). My biggest fear is that the WordPress server may have problems with that and the website video’s performance may be reduced.
  Moreover, i read several articles not recommending hosting in wordpress.com due to bandwidth limitations but to have a independent host service. Unfortunately, this possibility doesn’t allow the essential fast and easy/direct video upload that i need for my website.

  My question is, considering the requirements for my website, does wordpress.com server guarantee the optimum video visualization? Is there a way to use a independent hosting service like bluehosting but yet still upload the videos in a direct way like in wordpress.com?

  We actually don’t have any bandwidth limitations at WordPress.com, and can certainly handle your videos. :)
