Directing my domain (in google domains) to my new free WordPress site.
-
Hi there –
I am new to WordPress and domain setup so please tell me if this is possible. I had a website and domain hosted by one.com named suzannefirefighter.com and created a new (free) 2 page wordpress site to replace it at suzannefirefighter.home.blog and moved the domain hosting over to google domains. I am able to now point the domain http://www.suzannefirefighter.com anywhere I like but need either the IP address of the new domain (suzannefirefighter.home.blog) or the email address that I created is under at WordPress. I’m unable to find the first in the WordPress control panel (maybe just a newbie thing but I can’t find it anyway) and the email address there seems to be a randomly assigned account name of (email visible only to moderators and staff) which I’m unable to receive test messages to but it does allow me to change it in WordPress which I’d be happy to do if that might help.Any thoughts?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
To be able to use a custom domain, you’ll want to map it to WordPress.com. For that, you’ll need one of our paid plans. Then you’ll be able to add your domain by following these steps:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
As for your email address, I’m not sure I understand what you mean. It sounds like you are logging in using AppleID and that’s why you that address under your account.
If what you’d like to do is to create a custom email, you’ll want to have a look at this page:
