  My business will provide resources. My needs include survey and data totals, the ability for membership collection, membership capabilities of adding a listing with images or video, search capability to include geographic location, ratings, school , neighborhood or property mgt. where to start? Templates, plugins, mobile app?

  Hi, and welcome to WordPress.com! If you’re still in the information gathering stage, it could be worth focusing on the plugins first, so that you can locate the ones which provide the functions that you need.

  What sort of listings would these be – are they for rental properties or something else? The reason that I ask is that the type of resources may affect the type of plugins you’d need.

  For example, if your resources are (say) short-term rentals, or even long-term ones, you’d definitely want the Business plan to host the site here on WordPress.com, and it’s worth looking into plugins such as WooCommerce, and its extensions “Bookings” and “Accommodation for Bookings”:
