  I want to build a website with a service provider directory.  Ideally users can search by type of service, location, or by name. At some time I’d like to charge service providers for their listings.

  As I look at all the website themes I don’t see anything like this.  Do you have suggested themes and plugins that would work for this design?

  Hi @rebeccarader1111, neither the free WordPress software nor WordPress.com itself has this feature built in, but you’re welcome to check some plugins:
