Directory issues.

I installed wordpress to a directory titled “mcp” under the domain magiccityproductionsmt.com and after a few weeks of working on the website I was finally ready to launch the website. (technically the website was launched, it was just under “magiccityproductionsmt.com/mcp) before making the final changes I went into Settings > General and I changed both the wordpress address and the site address to “magiccityproductionsmt.com”. Upon saving this change I recieved a 404 error, I couldn’t change it back so I decided to drag all files from the “mcp” directory into the main webroot. The website is now all sorts of messed up nothing is working and I cannot log in to wordpress to fix it. What code do I need to change to fix the URLs I changed in wordpress, and what do I need to do to fix my website? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,
We can’t help you here at WordPress>COM. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and you are posting to the wrong support forum. WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Sorry about that, I did try there but the registration process was broken. I still haven’t received my confirmation email for multiple accounts I have made, which I applied for yesterday. Just thought here may have a few answers.

You have made a common error – look back in the support forums at .ORG – you should find some threads within the last day or three – I would be amazed if you can’t find an existing thread
