Dis-inviting viewers?

  I know I can remove a viewer, but is there any way to rescind an invitation to view? I invited someone to look at my (private) blog and they have not accepted the invitation and now I want to dis-invite them. My blog is set to private as I was just getting it set up and they were to have been a test viewer so I am nervous about it anyway…

  Hi @thehomeplaceweb,

  Invitations to users are sent via Email only. One’s you remove them from your list of viewers they won’t be able to view your private site. There is no email sent them to notify them when they are removed as viewers. The only way they would know is when they try to access the site. You must be aware of this support document for removing users:

  Thanks….I thought there might be a list of emails someplace and I could just quietly delete their email and then tactfully say….well I guess the invitation got lost in the mail! I don’t want to hurt their feelings but as they haven’t even bothered to look at my site and it’s been over a month since I issued the invitation, I guess I’ll just wait until when, if ever, they look at it some day and then just remove them then….nice to know they won’t be notified they are being removed however! Thanks again.
