Disable Commentary

Hello! I have been recently experiencing a lot of spam comments on my website (shawnayamamoto.com) and would rather disable commenting all together than continue to moderate them. However, after following the tutorials on wordpress, I realized that when I go to the discussion page, I am not given the option to disable commentary all together. Please help!

Your visitors click the post tiles or the comment links or comment bubbles on the front page of the blog and they are directed to the full post appearing on it’s own page where the comment boxes appear at the end of the posts.
You can enable and disable comments on free hosted WordPress.com blogs on this page > Settings > Discussion Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments.
