disable comments

  I have followed the help steps but do not see the same screen in my discussion section under settings to uncheck the boxes. I do not want parents to have any comment privileges

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you want to disable ALL comments, go to Discussion settings on the dashboard and disable them there. If you want to disable them on individual pages, disable them in the sidebar on the right.
  The editor has changed recently and you might have to poke around a bit, but it’s there somewhere. If you can’t find it, switch to the Classic editor and scroll down.

  Thanks for your reply…. I have found the discussion section and unchecked all the boxes but there is not a box that says disable comments. I’ve gone to screen options and comments are not even checked as an option but every page has leave a comment as am option on the bottom of the page???

  FOUND IT!!

  Need to click on pages In dashboard… Hover over the title.. Hit quick edit… Then there is a box that allows comments !!!
