disable comments

  I did not activate comments yet the comment box is still on my post. How can I eliminate comments, please help?

  Hello,

  Here are some links to manage comments. They may be on by default, but you can change the settings for individual posts:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-and-disable-comments-for-published-posts-and-pages/

  Or if you want to remove people from commenting on all of your posts:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/#bulk-edit

  Finally, if you want to delete comments here is one last link with instructions to do so:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-comments/

  In the dashboard section you can go to the “Comments” section and select individual or multiple comments and move them to trash, which essentially removes them from your post.
